Maseno University (MSU) is a Public University located along the Kisumu-Busia Road. The University is 25 kilometers North West of Kisumu County and is served by several Public Service Vehicles which operate from Kisumu town. Several buses also ply the route from Nairobi to Busia and some have their offices right within Maseno Town Center.
The University has one constituent college namely, Tom Mboya University College (TMUC) in Homa-Bay County and two campuses, namely, Main Campus situated in Maseno Township and Kisumu Campus situated within Central Business District (CBD) off Jomo Kenyatta Avenue and the eCampus, a virtual campus domiciled in Varsity Plaza, Kisumu City. In addition, the University is in collaboration with the Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT), Regional Institute of Business Management (RIBM), and Kenya Institute of Special Education, all situated in Nairobi.
